Sayulita Sailing Explorations is located in the town of Sayulita in the state of Nayarit, Mexico. Located in the area also known as the Mexican Riviera, Sayulita is sunny and warm and just as well known for its surfing and friendly locals, as it's beautiful coastal scenery and warm waters.
Every day in Sayulita is a great day to sail, and we will customize a day on the sea for you, your group or family. Whether that's sight-seeing, swimming, snorkeling or relaxing, you'll be doing it in style aboard the comfortable Sayula1.
Owner/Operator
Darrin B. Rath offers over 20 years of sailing experience aboard fine yachts. He has spent time designing custom charters around the world as well as in Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. Darrin´s knowledge of local seas as well as his commitment to 100% client satisfaction guarantees you, your family or your group a day of unparalleled adventure and fun!
The Vessel
The Sayula1 is a custom built 50 foot trimaran and accommodates up to 40 people.
A trimaran is a multihulled boat consisting of a main hull and two smaller outrigger hulls. The design and names for the trimaran components are derived from the original proa constructed by native Pacific Islanders.
Most trimaran designs are considered nearly unsinkable even when filled with water, the flotation of one ama is enough to keep the entire vessel afloat. Because of it's stability and safety, trimarans have become popular with sailors. Once on board the Sayula1, get prepared for a joyous, relaxing and safe day of sailing, exploring and adventure.
The Marina
Guests board Sayula1 at Marina Riveira Nayarit, in front of the Yacht Club. The marina is located in La Cruz just a 15 minute drive from Sayulita (taxis available). This beautiful marina is newly built and offers all the amenities for the start of a relaxing day on the water.
